British Association of Dermatologists conference

The 'Seeing the skin: portraits' exhibition was invited to be part of this prestigious conference for the British Association of Dermatologists. The works included two panels of participant dermatologists and 3 pieces by E J Lance inspired by the exploration through experimental drawing of historical dermatology illustrations from the collections held by Willan Library, The Royal College of Physican's Museum, Derby Museums and The Wellcome Collection. This exhibition is a pre-amble to the larger contemporary aspect of the forthcoming: Joseph Wright: A Life on paper.
